INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 Ounces Ground Pork Sirloin
  • 1/2 Cup Cooked Shrimp, Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Wine
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Finely Chopped Green Onion
  • 1 Inch Fresh Ginger Root, Minced
  • 18 Wonton Wrappers
  • 64 Ounces Chicken Broth
  • Garlic Powder To Taste
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste
  • Chopped Green Onions For Garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, shrimp, wine, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, 1 teaspoon chopped green onion and ginger. Evenly divide your mixture among the sixteen wonton wrappers. Moisten the edges of each wonton wrapper with water, and then fold the wrapper over the filling to make a triangle.  Press edges firmly to seal.  Combine the chicken broth, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a large soup pot.  Bring to boil and carefully drop your prepared wontons into your soup.  Boil for 5-8 minutes until your wontons are done.  Garnish with your chopped green onions when serving.
