• 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 4-6 Garlic Cloves, Minced
  • 1-2 Inches Fresh Ginger Root, Minced
  • 2 Cups Raw Shrimp, Shelled And Deveined
  • 64 Ounces Chicken Broth
  • 9 Ounces Firm Tofu, Diced
  • 1 Cup Frozen Green Peas, Thawed
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste
  • Chopped Green Onions For Garnish


  1. Heat the oil in a large soup pot over medium-high heat.  Add the garlic and ginger and sauté 2-3 minutes until slightly brown.  Add the shrimp and sauté until cooked through.  Remove the shrimp and set aside.  Pour in your chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.  Add the tofu, green peas, salt and pepper, then return to a boil. Stir in your shrimp and simmer 1-2 minutes.  Garnish with green onions when serving.
